Some of the largest Black Bears in North America can be found in Newfoundland. This spectacular area has mature bears averaging 300 lbs; although the outfitter has had clients take bears as large as 500 lbs. Since Grand Lake Adventures only allows a few bear hunt each season, and with only a few bears being taken from the hunting area, there is less pressure on the species. This gives you the opportunity to see a high volume of bears while being more selective on what you take.
This bear hunt is also offered in the Fall as an add on to a moose or caribou hunt. Call for add on pricing.
