Mountain Lion Hunt in British Columbia, Canada
Canadian Mountain Lion hunts take place from the first of December to the end of March. The hunting area the outfitter utilizes has the largest cougars in the world and boast the number one Boone and Crockett cougar. There is very little hunting pressure on these cats and since they are in such a remote area with little road access they tend to thrive.
This is a 7 day hunt with 2x1 guiding services.
Hunters are encouraged to purchase a wolf tag prior to the hunt. This hunt has you covering a lot of ground and chances are good you will have the opportunity at taking one home.
You also have an option of adding a Lynx to this hunt for a trophy fee of $2500. This must be paid in cash once the cat is killed.
A typical day starts at 6:00am driving the roads and stopping by the ranch for breakfast and to load up the sleds to head out on the hunt. When track is found the hounds are let go and the excitement begins. Snow machines and snowshoes are a must for this type of hunt.
