Kamchatka Brown Bear Hunt in Russia
In the spring with the snow on the ground it make it easy to clearly see the bears at great distances. A typical morning on this hunt starts early with heading out on a snowmobile to scout the hunting areas for tracks. Once a trophy bear is within sight, spot and stalk on foot is used to get within shooting distance.
In the fall, the bears like to head to the fish spawning grounds in the rivers to feed as well as where the many nuts and berries grow. The outfitter uses Argos (all-terrain vehicles) to travel around and locate their feeding areas. Hunting is done by spot-and-stalk once a bear is within sight.
There is excellent fishing with the many rivers and streams in the area. You are welcome to add fishing to your bear hunt if you would like.
Hunting is done from April to May and August to September. This is a 9-day hunt for one bear. A second bear can be added for an additional $6,000.
This hunt must be booked as a group of two or more since it is not set up for a single hunter.
