Mountain Lion Hunt in Utah
This Mountain Lion hunt takes place in Utah. Over the years the outfitter for this hunt has become well known for his Mountain Lion hunts. His clients hold many of the top rankings in SCI, B&C, and P&Y record books because of the cats they took while hunting with him. They use highly trained hounds for tracking the cats. If you have not hunted a Mountain Lion before, it's something you need to experience at least once in your lifetime. It is mesmerizing to watch the hounds once they pick up a scent and begin to track the cats.
Mountain Lion hunting is typically done from November to May. However, there are a few areas that allow for year round hunting. This outfitter has a multitude of hunting areas. Call us to find out which areas are available.
There is an option to add a Lynx or Bobcat to this hunt. You will need to make prior arrangements with the outfitter if you want to add this to your hunt. Tags for these cats are restricted and must be obtained along with a Furbearer license in October. The outfitter can assist you with the process once your hunt is booked.
Dates can be flexible from now until April. Late March and April hunts are typically done on dry ground.
