Pheasant Hunt in South Dakota
This Pheasant hunt takes place south of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The outfitter has over 15,000 acres of well maintained land that is prime habitat for Pheasants. There is a 3-bird per day limit on hunting. The outfitter does have highly trained hunting dogs that are used while hunting. However, you are encouraged to bring and use your own hunting dogs, if desired. This is the perfect opportunity for them to experience a tremendous numbers of birds in a variety of terrain types. The outfitter does have an indoor/outdoor kennel facility that is adjacent to the lodge.
In addition to hunting, they do offer a well maintained professionally designed, 50-shot sporting clays course. This is a great way to warm up for you hunt. It is unsupervised, but for a fee one of the guides can escort you through.
They do process and freeze your birds to transport home with you. If you prefer, they can ship them directly to you instead.
