Tahr Hunt in New Zealand
This fair chase Tahr hunt is done on the South Island of New Zealand. The outfitter has been in the business for over 30 years and has the knowledge and experience for an enjoyable and successful hunt.
This is a 4 day hunt with lodging and meals included. The Tahr are hunted on private property where they are plentiful and probably some of he best in the world. This Tahr hunt is challenging but well worth the effort. You will be stalking in mountainous terrain so be super to come prepared. Access to the area is done by 4x4 vehicles and by helicopter as needed. There is an additional fee for the helicopter.

Red Stag: 360-380: $9,500, 380-400: $11,500, 400-420: $13,500, 420+: POA
Fallow Buck: up to 220 - $2,200, 221 and up - $4,000
Wapiti: up to 350 - $6,500, 351 and up is POA
Tahr: Any size $5,500
Chamois: Any size $4,000
