This is a 10-day hunt with 1x1 guiding. They hunt brown bears in unit 9 from their camp in Alaska.  The brown bears in this area have an abundance of salmon and average 7.5' to 9'.

Do to the strict management done by the Department of Fish and Game, fall hunting is done October of odd years, and spring hunting is done in May of even years.

Plan to arrive in King Salmon, Alaska the day prior to your hunt.

Not included in the price:

• Brown Bear Tag:  $1,000
• Hunting License:  $160

• Hotel, food, air travel before and after your arrival and departure from camp
• Cost of your hunting & fishing licenses & tags, which they have at camp
• Trophy care/prep at D&C Trophy shipping, crating, tanning or insurance from expediter in Anchorage
• Any required export permits if applicable

Non hunters are welcome for $10,500

Itinerary:  Lake Clark Air from Anchorage> King Salmon > King Salmon to Base Camp (Ugashik Lake)> Hunt> Ugashik Base Camp to King Salmon> King Salmon back to Anchorage. 

Meat/Trophy Shipping: We will take care of getting your meat/trophy from the field to Anchorage to the Wildlife Gallery via Lake Clark Air.  We don't have the facilities to flesh, salt and dry your hide in the field, it will be done at The Wildlife Gallery in Wasilla.  They charge a fee for turning, salting, drying, and cleaning the skull plate and/or bear skull.  They will also take care of sealing the bear for you.  We recommend you have them mount your moose or bear but if you have your own taxidermist they will take care of shipping it to the taxidermist of your choice.  Shipping cost will depend on location.
