The Moose River Moose hunt in Alaska borders a world famous national park. It is north of the Arctic Circle in the foothills of the Brooks Range and offers some of the finest Alaska moose, grizzly, and black bear hunting. This area is perhaps one of Alaska's most game rich river valleys.
Moose River Valley acts as a natural funnel for bull moose during the rut. They spend their summers feeding in the National Wildlife Refuges in the south and travel up north as their breeding season begins. This hunt has consistently produced bull moose in the 50-63" range with an average size of 61-1/2" over the years. They have even had some bulls as wide as 69".
On this hunt you will see Arctic Grizzlies stalking the river's edge and foraging the hillsides throughout the fall. Grizzlies in the area typically range in size from 6' to 7.5'. You have the opportunity of adding a grizzly to you hunt for a trophy fee; prices listed below.
