This polar bear hunting is done in some of the most extreme environments in the world. All polar bear hunts are done in traditional Inuit ways and with only Inuite guides. The outfitter offers a spring hunt that is done on the frozen Arctic Ocean. He also offers a late summer or early fall spot and stalk hunt that is done by boat and/or ATV. The Inuit guides scour and glass shorelines along the well known islands searching areas the bears use during the Arctic ice-free period.
Late summer Polar Bear season begins August 1, which coincides with the best 4 to 5 week period for hunting Atlantic Walrus that are hauled out by the hundreds on isolated rocky islands.
This Polar Bear hunt is a fully guided, all inclusive hunt.
